Bendana | Pinel Art Contemporain is pleased to present "Strabisme Interne" by Florencia Rodriguez Giles.
The exhibition Strabisme interne is the result of a project which aims to develop communitiesconsist of people who do not know, and whose first intersubjective bonds begin to weavethrough the act of sharing dreams. Then these communities develop through collective practiceswhose aim is to enable and pursue changing processes of emotional economy, perceptive, expressive and relational.
These collective practical use as a material premium daily experiences of everyone's life, such as dreams, feelings of déjà vu and states of mind. These experiences are both common experiencesand experiences capable of inducing alienation process against naturalized modes of feeling, perceiving, to express themselves, to be together, to occupy the space and time. These experiences are so used to trigger other self exploration and transformation process possible modes of being in the world and be together in a physical and human environment being built.
Alongside the dating sequence, I produce - using the materials shared by participants -cosmetic extras such as masks, clothing, sculptures, videos and 3D animations. The purpose ofthese supplements is to support the aesthetically self-transformation process and the development of the community.
For this exhibition, I confront these objects and pictures to the absence of the bodies, thefainting of performatiques acts, the disappearance of the dream community that embodiedthese acts. In doing so, I leave these objects and images in a state of suspension in which the emotional and perceptual load associated with their use begins (trans) look for herself. I offer a space to account for the universe that developed during community work, to convey somethingof the absent dreamlike community and the life that was hers.
